I have used Alpina ski products for years and when my old-reliable comi-boots finally went out on their last XC ski outing, I knew that I needed to find another pair of Alpinas. Man, I thought my old boots were comfy and well-built, but these are AMAZING and significantly better than my last pair. I've been out for almost 100K so far, and with the amount of snow still on the ground here, I might get a hundred more by the end of March. I'm sure that they will perform for skating, but I've only used them for diagonal skiing so far. They are true to size and look great! I can't recommend them enough.
