I read this book slowly on purpose because I wanted to savor it as I felt every story was a delightful treat for me to read and relax every night when My house went quiet before I went to bed. I have the Ultimate respect for Doctor Melinda, she is not only a wonderful Veterinarian but an amazing kind hearted woman. As a cattle farmer I understand the physical demanding long hard days of caring for livestock but being a female large animal Veterinarian is so much harder than I could have imagined. I totally respect Dr McCall for her knowledge and dedication even when the job is very dangerous and disgusting. How she keeps up with this work keeping a great sense of humor and Love for all of it is nothing short of amazing! I am so glad Melinda wrote this book so everyone can enjoy reading and learning in such a delightful way. My experience with this Veterinarian has always been very positive.
