The Alpina Solution cross-country skis are a great recreational touring choice for skiing on mostly groomed trails at ski touring centers. The compact length and 52mm width under foot make them easy to maneuver and stable. The Alpina Posi-Grip embossed wax less base pattern provides excellent grip for kick and glide skiing. Additionally, with a 64-52-60mm side cut profile the Solution skis performer sufficiently well for light trail breaking if you decide to venture off track and explore. The fiberglass capped wood core construction is highly durable and will provide years of skiing enjoyment. Alpina' s Solution sizing system: Skier weight up to 120 lbs. = 165cm skis, skier weight 120-145 lbs. = 175cm skis, skier weight 145-175 lbs. = 185cm skis, skier weight 175 lbs. and up = 195cm skis.
